BENE Cercetare attended COMINT Romania Forum 2026 on 30 June 2026, held at the CCIR Business Center, Bucharest, and organised by the Digital Transformation Council together with Revista COMUNICAȚII Mobile and TelecomTV. Under the theme “Drone, Anti-Drone și Inteligența Comunicațiilor în Noua Economie a Securității,” the forum examined how drones, artificial intelligence, electronic warfare, and critical infrastructure are reshaping Europe’s security and digital economy.
The agenda featured high-level speakers from ROMARM, the International Drone Defence Association, ANCOM, ROMATSA, ICI București, S.N. Radiocomunicații, and Politehnica University of Bucharest, across three thematic sessions covering the strategic transformation of communications, spectrum management, and autonomous systems.
While our portfolio is rooted primarily in smart cities, sustainable mobility, and digital transformation, several of our active projects connect to the broader theme of resilient digital infrastructure explored at COMINT: WeH 2.0, ENHANCE Europe, SeaGuard, SeaGuard National. Our full active project portfolio: MisAIB, ROMEO, PNTS, OPTIX, PROMISE, ENHANCE Europe, WeH 2.0, Wallachia eHUB (WeH), AEROMATICS, NANOEMCA, NetZeroCities, SeaGuard, Museion, SHIELD, and SMARDY.
The forum offered a valuable opportunity to engage with a community of defence, telecom, and public sector professionals working at the frontier of Romania’s technological sovereignty — a perspective that enriches the way we think about resilient, future-proof digital infrastructure in our own projects.
