BENE Cercetare at Zilele Horticulturii Bucureștene 2026
Soil, seeds, and digital innovation don’t seem like obvious companions — but 7–10 May 2026, at the Campus Agronomie Herăstrău in Bucharest, they share the same stage. BENE Cercetare is attending Zilele Horticulturii Bucureștene, Romania’s dedicated gathering of horticultural professionals, researchers, and industry actors, participating in roundtables and B2Match sessions to forge new relationships with stakeholders from the horticultural sector.
Our presence has a clear focus: introducing the horticultural community to WeH 2.0 — the Wallachia eHub, a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme. WeH 2.0 serves as a one-stop gateway for SMEs and public organisations in the South Muntenia and Bucharest-Ilfov regions seeking to accelerate their digital and green transformation. For horticultural businesses in particular, WeH 2.0 offers a rich portfolio of services — from precision agriculture and smart sensing solutions to AI integration, cybersecurity, test-before-invest facilities, access to finance, and training programmes tailored to the realities of modern agri-food enterprises.
Our broader active portfolio underlines BENE Cercetare’s commitment to research that serves real-world sectors: MisAIB, ROMEO, PNTS, OPTIX, PROMISE, ENHANCE Europe, AEROMATICS, NANOEMCA, NetZeroCities, SeaGuard, Museion and SMARDY.
