BENE Cercetare attended EXPOAPA 2026, the 26th edition of Romania’s flagship water and wastewater exhibition. The Asociația Română a Apei (ARA) organised the event, which ran from 8 to 10 September 2026 at ROMEXPO, Bucharest.
The event brought together utilities, operators, researchers, and public authorities, and it gave us an excellent opportunity to share the research that connects to water, environment, and sustainable cities. We presented SeaGuard, which applies unmanned AI robotic technology to maritime surveillance, NetZeroCities, which supports climate-neutral urban development, and OPTIX, which optimises positive-energy districts through interoperable digital platforms.
We valued every conversation and thank ARA for a strong, well-organised edition. The connections we made here strengthen our work at the meeting point of research and real-world impact.
