BENE Cercetare took part in the second edition of the CyberSea Festival — Romania’s only summer cybersecurity festival — held on 28–30 July 2026 at Diplomatic Mamaia, Constanța, under the theme “CyberLANTIS: The Digital Legend Awaits.” Across three days, the festival united institutions, universities, companies, students, and practitioners for hands-on workshops, live challenges, demos, and a strong institutional presence dedicated to making cybersecurity practical and visible.
We disseminated a selection of our research portfolio to the festival’s diverse audience, with a focus on projects connected to security, resilient monitoring, and trusted digital infrastructure: SeaGuard (unmanned AI robotic technology transforming the future of maritime border surveillance for a safer Europe), NANOEMCA (confined nanoreactors for environmental, medical, and catalytic applications), and our full European project portfolio including WeH 2.0, OPTIX, PROMISE and SHIELD.
