BENE Cercetare joined the conference “Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Nearly-Zero-Energy Buildings (Green Buildings)”, organised by AHK Romania on 8 September 2026 at The Mark (The Podium), Calea Griviței 82-98, Bucharest.
Held within the German BMWE programme “Energy Solutions Made in Germany”, the conference brought together companies, institutions, and professionals interested in Romanian-German cooperation on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and nearly-zero-energy buildings (NZEB) — with presentations on innovative technologies, the regulatory framework, financing opportunities, and the outlook for sustainable construction.
These themes sit at the very core of our research. Through OPTIX, we work on optimising positive-energy districts via interoperable digital platforms; through ENHANCE Europe, we advance energy-harvesting solutions that turn everyday infrastructure into a source of clean energy; and through PROMISE, we tackle the mobility and behaviour-change side of sustainable urban living. Energy-efficient buildings don’t exist in isolation — they are part of energy-positive districts, cleaner mobility, and smarter cities, and that is exactly the bigger picture BENE Cercetare works toward.
