BENE Cercetare will participate in the ENABLES Training & Networking Event — “Digitalizare, GIS și Digital Twin pentru orașe”, organised by UTCB in collaboration with Primăria Sectorului 2 under Horizon Europe — as part of the EU-CoNEXUS European University Alliance — on 22–23 July 2026 in Bucharest. The two-day programme brings together representatives from public administration, academia, companies, and organisations interested in applying digital solutions to urban management, strategic planning, and decision support — covering Digital Twin concepts for cities, GIS tools and practical urban applications, cross-organisational data sharing, community engagement strategies, and real-world case studies from cities already implementing these solutions. The event concludes on 23 July with the ENABLES Mutual Learning & Networking Event, a dedicated exchange session between project partners, city representatives, and stakeholders engaged in digital transformation and sustainable urban development across Europe.
Our work through WeH 2.0 — the European Digital Innovation Hub supporting SMEs and public organisations in the South Muntenia region — and projects such as PROMISE, OPTIX, and NetZeroCities addresses precisely the urban digitalisation, sustainability, and community engagement challenges that the ENABLES programme was built to advance. We look forward to contributing to the discussions and to the partnerships that will emerge from these two days.
