Participation in the European Urban Initiative Information Session

BEIA Consult International participated in the information session on the European Urban Initiative (EUI) on March 19, 2026, in Bucharest, Romania. Organized by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration in its role as the Urban Contact Point in Romania, the event brought together representatives of urban authorities, public administration institutions, and private sector organizations.

The session provided an overview of the EUI — one of the EU’s key instruments supporting cities in implementing innovative, sustainable urban development projects and strengthening administrative capacity. Participants learned about the latest call for innovative actions, the activities of the Urban Agenda for the EU partnerships, and other sustainable urban development funding opportunities. During this national event, BEIA Team was responsible for the dissemination and communication of the WeH 2.0 project, a new digitalization project that started this year as a natural continuation of the Wallachia eHub project.

By attending this event, BEIA reaffirms its commitment to staying connected with European funding landscapes and supporting partners in accessing EU co-funded urban development initiatives.
