On January 19, 2026, BEIA participated in the official Kick-off Meeting for the WeH 2.0 project. This meeting marked a significant milestone in our journey toward fostering digital transformation and innovation.
As the original WeH project successfully concluded in December 2025, the primary focus of this meeting was to ensure a seamless transition to WeH 2.0. By maintaining the continuity of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), we aim to build upon the solid foundation already established.
The agenda covered several key areas:
- Project Overview & Strategy: Aligning on the long-term vision for WeH 2.0.
- Retrospective Insights: Sharing valuable feedback from the first phase of WeH to optimize future processes.
- Work Packages & Tasks: Detailed discussions on partner responsibilities, defining clear roles for each Work Package (WP) and specific tasks.
- Expanding the Network: Identifying strategies to attract new clients and stakeholders into the project ecosystem.
- Collaborative Planning: Organizing upcoming roundtables and dissemination events.
The success of WeH was driven by the excellent collaboration between our partners—a synergy characterized by professionalism, trust, and shared goals. We are thrilled to announce that this strong partnership will continue into WeH 2.0 for the next three years.
Together, we remain committed to delivering high-level digital expertise and supporting the growth of the community through this renewed EDIH initiative.
It was also a great opportunity to disseminate the PROMISE, SeaGuard, NetZeroCities, Museion projects with consortium partners.
