BENE Cercetare took part in RONOG 11, the 11th meeting of the Romanian Network Operators Group, held on 29 September 2026 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest, and hosted by InterLAN-IX. The programme offered a deep dive into the technologies behind today’s Internet, from DDoS defence and optical networks to AI traffic growth and BGP automation.
We talked with operators and engineers, shared our research in telecommunications and digital connectivity, and found new links between research and the people who run the networks every day. We thank InterLAN-IX and the RONOG team for a well-organised day.
Our active project portfolio: MisAIB, ROMEO, PNTS, OPTIX, PROMISE, ENHANCE Europe, WeH 2.0, Wallachia eHUB, AEROMATICS, NANOEMCA, NetZeroCities, SeaGuard, Museion, SHIELD, and SMARDY.
