BENE Cercetare attended POLI AutoFEST 2026 at POLITEHNICA Bucharest – joining the automotive innovation community for three days of exhibitions, workshops, and conversations about the technologies shaping the future of mobility.
We used the event to disseminate ENHANCE Europe – our Horizon Europe initiative strengthening European resilience and competitiveness – to an audience of engineers, students, and mobility professionals.
Two visits left a particular impression. A conversation at the Pirelli stand offered a window into the company’s ongoing R&D in tyre technologies – an area where material science, sustainability, and performance intersect in fascinating ways. And at the GEOSTUD / C-MineTech stand, we explored an EU-funded VR simulator designed to train students and automotive professionals on car disassembly and circular material recovery – a vivid example of how digital tools are transforming both education and sustainability in the automotive sector.
